A Syncry subscription covers everyone in your family: one or two parents, one subscription. It includes Iris, the AI companion. Iris offers warm, general support and is NOT a medical service; she does not diagnose and is not a substitute for your midwife, doctor, health visitor or pediatrician.
So that Iris stays affordable for every family, each family has a fair monthly limit on Iris, set above what a family normally uses. If yours reaches it, Iris rests until the start of the next month and tells you so. Everything else in Syncry keeps working, and nothing you have written is lost. Iris can also rest for a while if use of Iris across all families reaches the limit Syncry has set for the month. The limit does not change the price.
The price shown on the Pricing page is the total amount, including any applicable tax, charged each billing period (monthly or yearly as you choose). After any free trial, the subscription renews automatically at that price until you cancel. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details.
Every family has 30 free days (120 with Early Entry, below), counted from the day the family is made in Syncry. If you subscribe while some are left, the subscription begins with a free trial that ends when those days end, so it lasts only the days still left, never a new 30. If they are over, or fewer than two are left, billing starts on the day you subscribe. The trial is given once per family: if the family, or either parent’s email, has had a Syncry subscription before, billing starts on the day you subscribe. You will not be charged during a trial, and if you cancel before it ends you pay nothing. If you do not cancel, billing begins automatically at the price shown.
Early Entry (campaign code EARLYENTRY26) is a launch offer for the first 50 families that sign up while it is open. A family that takes one of the 50 places gets 90 extra free days on top of the 30 free days, 120 days in all, counted from the day the family was made. It is applied automatically when the family is made: there is no code to type. Only real families take a place: test accounts, the demo family and Founding Families do not, and a family that is deleted for good gives its place back. The offer ends when all 50 places are taken. We may end the offer earlier; a family that has already signed up keeps its extra time. The extra days work exactly like the rest of the free period: nothing is charged before they end, you can cancel any time before then and pay nothing, and if you do not cancel, billing starts at the normal price shown. The free trial is still given once per family: if the family, or either parent’s email, has had a Syncry subscription before, billing starts on the day you subscribe.
The law gives you 14 days from when you subscribe to cancel. Syncry starts straight away, so at checkout we ask you to confirm that you want it to start now and that you understand you then lose that 14-day right. If your subscription begins with a free trial, the trial covers those 14 days: you can still cancel for free until it ends. You can cancel future renewals at any time (see below). Nothing here affects your legal rights.
Paid features should be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If something is faulty or not as described, contact us and we will put it right or arrange a refund where the law requires. These rights are in addition to anything in these terms.
Cancel anytime from Settings, Subscription, which opens the secure Stripe portal. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, and it does not renew after that.
